Blog1 Moon printer

There are plans for a four person building to be built on the moon utilizing 3D printers. The Architects Foster and Partners are behind this design, a design that could be mimicked multiple times if need be to build even more than one four person building. Perhaps this will lead to the colonization of the moon as was envisioned years ago by speculative minds. Something of this magnitude won’t just be important to the floating rock in the sky; it will also have lasting effects on this planet and the people here, would maybe the moon one day be the place to go for a new life? Once more go and it becomes less of a super science type thing the possibilities are endless. Who could control this new place? Sadly it doesn’t really address all these questions in the article, all it gives is that there are plans to add the structure to the moon’s south pole and it will be using an inflatable structure and covered using the 3D printer.
The European Space Agency, as well as a few other unnamed organizations have all collaborated on getting this project up a running and once they do it will change the idea of human existence. Some already marvel at the International Space Station so one can just imagine having a base actually situated on the moon, for who knows if we will stop there. Though what I’m wondering from all this is whether those living on the moon will have found a way to bypass getting taxed. http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/technology-21293258
