Google in the Middle East

Google is dominating in the Middle East as they “hunger for technology” stated in the article. “The hunger for technology” has gain Google more customers with Android. Android is not popular in the Middle East just because of its operating system, but for what the phone offers. The Android operating system is within in smartphones, and smartphones are constantly changing offering many different applications and programs. "In fact Google has not improve or did anything to their system they rely more on the brand partners like Samsung, HTV, Sony LG, and Motorola." Google is looking in to creating an application that will allow people to pay there pills through their smartphone using the Android operating system. There are some issues that have arisen from this such as how to accommodate all the different currency, but they are working this issue will be resolved and running in 2013.
I feel that all countries are in the same boat looking for that new technology and trying to advance our way of living. With creating more technology we are improving our lives by making information more convent. The Android operating system I think is useful, but just like the author of this article said I did not buy my phone for the operating system, but for styles that the partners provide of their phones and applications and programs. I think that the payment program will be successful when it is up and running. This application can help with people are on the run and do not have time to get to a computer and pay their bills. It is interesting that they are trying to accommodate the different currencies into this application.
