Blog #6: Syrians Migration Hits 1 million/Migration

According to this article Syrian migrants who have fled their war-ravaged country has reached 1 million and thousands more are being displaced. Syrian refugees are fleeing into neighboring areas such as Lebanon, Turkey, Iraq, Jordan and Egypt seeking shelter and security away from the rebels that have torn their homes apart. The UN High Commissioner for Refugees, Antonio Guterres, states that with a million refugees and nearly two million others being displaced, Syria is heading towards a "full scale disaster". The Civil War in Syria began to escalate back in March 2011 with protests against President Bashar  Assad's authoritarian rule. As the government intervened, the rebels took up arms and the conflict turned into a war. The United Nations estimated that about 70,000 people had been killed. The refugees who are seeking for a way out by migrating abroad are "traumatized", they have no belongings and many are mourning over deaths of immediate family members, many of them being children under the age of 11 years old. Guterres states that he and the rest of the agency are doing everything possible to provide shelter, food, and water to the displaced citizens, however, out of the $1 billion dollars that was pledged to assist Syrian refugees only about $200 million is available. Panos Moumtzis, UNHCR's Regional Coordinator says " we are getting desperate, the agency is able to provide the Syrian refugees with the bare minimum: a tent, a blanket, a sleeping mat, 2,000 calories a day, and 20 liters of water a day". This bare minimum is not enough to help the thousands of other people that are continuously crossing the border trying to escape their war torn country.

Civil Wars that break out among a group of rebels and the government officials takes the greatest toll on innocent civilians. As stated in the article the lives of half of the children under the age of 11 were the victims in this brutal war. Many more civilians have become displaced as they are forced to leave all of their personal belongings behind and cross the border into neighboring areas seeking for security. The rebels have torn Syria apart and they will continue to ravage the country. Unfortunately, the government is not able to bring down the rebels as they have taken up arms and made everyone a target in their thirst for power and control.  The refugees that have been able to escape and get away are forced to deal with the grieve and mourn the loss of many loved family members, while others who are still in Syria are fighting the civil war until they are able to cross the border and seek refuge themselves.

Samsung has unveiled its new handset, the Galaxy S3 in Europe ahead of other markets.

Because we're functioning off of absolutely nothing more than pure rumors and speculation, I might be looking at as well much into this and the i - Phone start has been and will carry on to be delayed for simple and extremely evident factors. The Samsung Galaxy S3 is, to begin with a LTE network compatible smartphone handset that is capable of handling speeds in the range of 30 to 60 mega bytes per second.

They must have been forced to face several uncomfortable issues as far as the use of
their i - Phone is concerned. 1 is Samsungs replacement of the original
Galaxy Tab 10. It is priced at around $399 with a 2 year contract and $599 without
one.
