This article shows that with all the poverty and underdevelopment in the Philippines, the locals have shown their frustration with the actions of the government. Not only the natives took to the streets to protest but President Benigno S. Aquino made it a priority the past three years to resolve this. Not only the countries corruptions are financially but sexual harassment and bribes within the government have been a concern as well. When you have a country that images of class and social status are visible as crossing from one side of the street to another and having $141 million divided between dishonest politicians and their friends would be a major concern of any country but could be used in the underdeveloped parts of this country. Even a well-established country would not be able to recover from that amount of money but shows that some of local and national issues of this country are also a global issue.
