Isis executes 28 Ethiopian Christians in Libya

The Islamic State in Iraq and Syria (ISIS) publish a footage showing the execution of at least 28 Christians Ethiopian in Libya after they refuse to convert to Islam.

The video shown 12 people being beheaded on a beach and 16 others being shot in the head.

According to the video ISIS gave the Christians the choice to either pay al-Jezyah (the tribute) or convert to Islam or be executed. The executed were followers of the Ethiopian Church.

Analysis

This an example of religious extremist-which is define as someone who hold very strict interpretation of their faith and tradition and sometimes appear willing to use force to enforce their ideas. They are religious extremist because the Christians of Ethiopian didn’t revert to their ways by paying al-Jezyah (the tribute) or convert to Islam so they executed them. They went to the extreme of beheading and shooting someone in the head to enforce your religious belief. The ISI are Islamic Fundamentalism because they want strict Islamic state. It is becoming a global affair because the ISIS influence is spreading beyond its borders and it is a terrorist group recognize by the United State. They use beheading and shooting as a form of terrorism in Syrian to terrorize the people so they will surrender to them and be terrified of them. Isis beheaded 300 people from Anbar’s tribes over the past few days, says Anbar MP

Adel Khamis Mahlawi, announced on Wednesday that ISIS terrorist beheaded 300 people in the province in the past few days

Mahlawi said “ISIS continues in a series of terrorist crime against the Iraqi people, especially the member of the Anbar tribes’ pointing out “the organization slaughter 300npeople in the past days; they belong to the tribe of ABU Maha, al-Karaba, al-Salman, Albu Obaid, and al-Raoyen”.

Mahlawi, a deputy from the union of forces, stated that “Everyone should bear moral and legal responsibility for genocide suffered by the people of Anbar at the hands of outsiders of this era and save is people from their crime”.

Analysis

The ISIS problem is a global affair because what is happening has spread outside its borders. It also has attracted global affair because other countries are waging war against them. The beheaded of 300 people is an example of religious extremist. The ISIS will use any force to enforce their religious ideas. The ISIS will mangle, behead and execute anyone who doesn’t conform to their ways. So the killing of the 300 people is another way of using fear and terror to convert someone into conformity. They show little compassion for human being so that’s why it’s a global affair. The killing of the 300 people was genocide killing that is prohibited by the United Nation. It is also consider a war crime. So his killing of 300 individuals was inhumane and it goes against every moral ethic of human life.

Militants fighting for the Islamic Stat have savagely beheaded a man accused of practicing sorcery and witchcraft.

Horrifying images of the killing are being shared on the social media by their blood thirsty supporters showing the victim laying in blood with his head severed resting on his back.

The position the man laid was the same position British and American hostages laid in after savagely beheaded by  ISIS British executioner chief Mohammed Emwazi, also known as Jihadi John.

Surrounding the man lifeless body are dozens of brightly-colored praying beads. The man was most likely selling these items that ISIS terrorist consider bid’ah “meaning a’reprehensible innovation.’

Huge crowds were seen in the streets to witness this brutal killing. ISIS normally executes and amputates people in public.

This shows a brutal killing of a terrorist group that wants to be the supreme ruler. This religious extremist will use any fore to implement their belief on other human being. In this article it shows the beheaded of a person to enforce their belief on a sect of people. They use public form to instill conformity and to terrorize the people. ISIS kills more than 40 in attack on Syrian village

 

The ISIS fighters on Tuesday killed over 40 people which were mostly civilians. The assault on the government held village of Mabuja was the latest attack by the Sunni extremist group.

The militants launch an offensive attack on Mabuja which is in central Syria which has patchworks of communities with many minority Christians as well as Ismailis and Alawites offshoots.

The Syrian Observation for Human Rights said the dead included 37 civilians who were stabbed. Shot dead or burned before the militants withdrew. Villagers were still missing but they don’t know whether it was cost by ISIS or not.

The extremist groups now holds one third of Syrian territory. The extremist group power has risen in the civil war.

The city was capture after four days of intense fighting and shelling between the Islamic fighters led by Al Qaeda and the Assad’s government.

ldlib became the second provincials to fall to the opposition after Raqqa. Since the fighting has been going on in this city some 30,000 people have been displace. It has been so extreme that there is electricity shortage and closure of schools and hospitals.

The ISIS was searching through the city for government supporters among the residents. The government refers to the armed opposition as ‘terrorist’.

This is a global affair because it is spreading beyond its borders. They have now capture key cities and have strongholds that are crippling Syria. They are a terrorist group that has to be stop. They are affiliated with Al Qaeda which is a threat to the world. It’s a global affair because they are killing civilians in inhumane ways such as beheaded, stabbing, burning and shooting people to death which will not be tolerated by countries.

One witness said I was move by the women crying and then she start bleeding and later died. The man went on to say that the government has left them in the hand of ISIS, who does all types of terrible crimes in the city.

It also stated that in October the Islamic state group accused a man daughter of adultery and the man stone his daughter to death as she begged for her life

Analysis

In this article it tells about ISIS stoning individuals for social crimes. When women and men commit adultery they are stone to death. The ISIS will people for social crime as little as using cell phones and smoking. The people have compassion for the people that are stone but they are helpless. The government has left them in the hand of ISIS and they do all types of terrible crimes.

Ashes and death: What Boko Haram left behind in Baga

Some roads are impossible to reach because the Boko Haram has blown up the bridges.

From city to city the insurgents have left their imprint on of destruction- burned remains of markets places, homes, farms and governments facilities.

Signs boards have been painted over with Boko Haram insignia and inscription in Arabic. A few people have remain after the worst attack by the insurgents in their region. In the January attack Boko Haram killed hundreds may be more and setting building on fires.

Mangle motorcycles litter the street and decomposing bodies lie by the road. The town is fill with the smell of death.

Boko Haram mostly kills men. They normally don’t touch the women. They search the homes looking for men and when they find them they kill them.

One women stated that “Boko Haram fighters killed my sister’

The town is deserted except for the patrol. The Muslim leader Emir Ahmada pleaded for the people to come back home so they can redeveloped the town call Mubi.

The troops that are fighting the Boko Haram are getting maimed and killed regularly by the bombs that the Boko Haram has planted. The insurgents are known to surround their location with bombs to protect them from their enemies.

Military action is now being taken against the Boko Haram to stop their killing but they still remain a terror in the region.

Nigeria’s Boko Haram releases beheading video echoing Islamic State

Nigeria’s Islamist sect Boko Haram released a video showing the beheading of two men. The Video was echoing Islamic state because the militant’s thoughts they were sent to spy on them. Boko Haram first use on line posting using advance editing and graphic technique similar of footage from Islamic state.

The film was shown Monday, showing the Boko Haram standing behind the two men who were on their knee. They hand was bind up behind their back, with one militant standing over them holding a knife.

One of the militants stated to the camera that the men was paid by the authorities to spy on the militants, before the film ended it showed the decapitated bodies of the men. The film authenticity or date was possible to confirm.

This latest move is sparking concern that Boko Haram which evolved out of clerical movement. Focusing on its country, Nigeria, is expanding its scope and seeking scope and acceptance from global militants like Al Qaeda and Islamic state.

The Boko Haram have killed thousands and kidnapped hundreds in their bid to make their homeland and Islamic state. In recent months they have stepped up cross bored raids in Cameroon, chad and Niger.

Nigeria’s president said the militants are connected to Al Qaeda and it’s off shoot Islamic state, but it has not been confirmed yet.

The editing showing only the after math of beheading resembles footage from Islamic state, which has seized large part of Iraq and Syria and they killed several hostages. They showed in their footage Boko haram holding black flags.

In this article I analyzed Boko Haram has been shifting from the clerical movement to make their homeland a Islamic state into the tactic of ISIS. Suicide Attack Kills 38 Boko Haram threatens Nigeria votes

Two suicide attacks killed 38 people in northeast Nigeria six weeks before election as the leader of Boko Haram Ababakar Shekakau vow to stop the election.

There has been a wave of attacks against Cameroon, Chad and Niger blame on the rebel. Boko Haram leader Abubakar release a new video about the election stated “This election will not be held even if we were dead”. Speaking against Shekakau threat Niger’s president Mahamadou Issoufou vowed that they would put an end to the insurgency that has killed over 13,000 people. He told the cheering crowd in the capital of Nigeria’s Borno “Niger will be the death of Boko Haram.”

Boko Haram has been proven resilient and expert wonders if they can be over powered in a short term. In Nigeria’s Borno three assailants in motorized rishaw detonated explosives at a check point at Yamarkum village. The suicide bomber killed 36 people and injured 20, most of the victims were vendors and beggars that usually are at the check point. Boko Haram tried repeatedly to seize Biu, from the state capital Maiduguri, but was stopped by troops and local vigilantes. In Yobe state a bomber blew himself up inside a popular restaurant in northern Nigeria and killed the restaurant manager and a steward. Thirteen staff and customers were seriously injured.

Meanwhile Boko Haram and chadium army was in a fierce battle near the town of Dikwa were “several” militants and two chadium soldiers were killed. Boko Haram leader released a video that said his fighter would out last the multi-national offensive.

Boko Haram leader also stated that the insurgents had free their brother in arm during a weekend raid in the city of Gombe.

There has been an unrest and there has been an antagonists toward the government forces unrelated to Boko Haram in Southern Nigeria Rivers were a police was killed and four was injured. A news reporter was stabbed which was covering the story. A political motive was likely because tension is running high between the Jonathan Ruing Peoples Democratic Party and the main opposition which is the All Progressive Congress.

What Boko Haram is doing are religious extremists because they have strict interpretation of their faith and tradition and they are willing to use force to enforce theirs ideas. Boko leader stated “This election will not be held even if we were dead”. They don’t believe in voting in election, so that’s way there have been incidence of suicide bombers to disrupt the election. Boko Haram is so much of religious extremists that they go to great length to kill people who reject their belief and try to resist them. They had two suicide bombers that in two incident that kill 38 people. So in this article Boko Haram is using anything they can to exert their religious belief on groups of people.

Boko Haram

Boko Haram extremist group abducted eight young girls from a public transportation between the ages of 11-14 and took them back to Nigeria. They kill seven of the passenger they had taken hostage and dumped their bodies near Cameroon’s border. The bus driver was also slain. Boko Haram has intensified its attack in Cameroon and Nigeria in the past week after both country agreed to provide soldier to go against Boko Haram.

This is another example of Boko Haram killing in a bid to carve out an independent Islamic state in northeastern Nigeria. This is an example of killing over religion and what power is going to rule. They are killing innocent people to establish their superiority. They are attacking and killing because they think they are doing an ethnically cleansing- which is define as rendering an ethnically homogenous bus using force or intimidation to remove person of given group from the area. So at the hand of Boko Haram what they think is occurring is ethic cleaning. So that’s why they are killing people to. The Religious sector is that they believe that Christians and other ‘believers’ neo-colonialists intent on the destruction of Islam and responsible for the deprivation of northern Muslims. So the conflict is over religion and will people give over to this.

This is becoming a global problem because it is expanded to the U.S. building attack, attacking reporter, link to Al Queda and to extremist group in Mali. They are now listed in the U.S. terrorists group.

Boko Haram
Boko Haram has been a major threat to Nigeria since 2009. The group seeks to enshrine the Islamic Shrine law into the Nigerian constitution and create an Islamic state. A militant group lead by Boko Haram killed 12 people as government forces resist multiple attack in Maiduguri city. There was also an attack lead by Boko Haram in which a suicide bomber killed three people and a soldier at a military checkpoint. Boko Haram has done a lot of killing since 2009. Activities of Boko Haram are on the rise. More than 130,000 have been killed and over a million have been left homeless.

This fight is over religious power and what power is going to be in control in Nigeria. Religion has a tremendous power to fuel violence. One religion always wants to be the supreme religion and will go to any measure to establish their superior even if it means killing innocent people. Boko Harams is attempting to subject the one that doesn’t want to practice Islamic even to killing and leaving them homeless. This is an account of an attempt to subject or exterminate another that seen as threatening or inferior. Religion plays a key factor in the attack because it is use to provide justification for these acts. The struggle that Boko Haram is having; is to implement the Islamic Shrine law into the constitution. This is a common struggle outside the U.S. It’s becoming a global problems because they are targeting reporter and visiting people.
