Rapid Urbanization

The world we live in is growing rapidly. It is predicted by 2030 the 6.6 billion people will swell to a tremendous 9 billion(+). By 2050 it is predicted that half of the world population will be living in urban areas. In Asia and Africa, the prediction of population growth is expected to grow much quicker and bigger than that of the U.S. because of the population that is already large in those regions. This up rising of urbanization is most likely to happen in smaller cities where population is large. This will raise major issues with how to utilities the cities. The water, heating, electricity, and infrastructure problems will come in great numbers.

Its hard to stop the process of urbanization or even slow it down. It may be easier to accept it. Seeing as how the birth rate will probably decline due to urbanization offering fewer advantages and more disadvantages for families that live in the cities. Its crazy how the world is rapidly growing and changing however the minds of society are going to have to change in order to adjust to the growing needs of billions of people.
