Global warming is causing many significant problems around the world. Global warming is causing problems that range from lack of food resources, extreme weather conditions and lack of clean air among many others. History is showing that climate change has led to such events as widespread famine, wars and even severe population declines. History provides numerous instances were temperature declines have led to major population shifts and diseases. Scientists are now worried that the temperature increases caused by global warming might do the same thing. With extreme changes in the ecological conditions people tend to displace from those areas, which can then lead to war. It is predicted that climate change could put half the world’s people at risk for political instability or social disruption of some sort. Some scientists predict that these dramatic changes could be seen in the next twelve years. Bangladesh and places in West Africa are possible locations where violence is predicted because of the current deficiency of resources.
It is not surprising that lack of suitable water, food and other resources would cause masses of people to migrate. It is not looking good for the overall future of many countries that are experiencing some of the worst climate conditions. Governments need to discuss these issues in advance before they become unsolvable. Wars will unfortunately be a likely result of this global problem, and that is not going to be a good ending either. This particular problem is only going to add to the chaos of existing conflict.
