Zimbabwe is facing more food shortages, as failed agriculture and farming practices are leading to late planting of crops and low yields of food. Since president Mugabe seized lands from white farmers, and failed to teach recipients of farm land farming techniques, Zimbabwe continues to face food shortages. This year 86% of the nations corn crop was planted late, in December and January, and hit by heavy rains, therefore resulting in severe nitrogen shortage.
This only adds to the devastation of Zimbabwe's agricultural food supply, which has been in a downward spiral since 2001. It is really sad to see a country that had such an abundant food supply and agricultural economy rely on food aid. About 12 million people in Zimbabwe rely on food aid. :(

I think you did a great job encapsulating the essence of the article here and I am glad you chose this topic because its something that I was unaware of but highly interested in.
Whenever I read about poverty and hunger, I thing about people who spend hundreds of dollars at expensive restaurants.
