Human Rights: Sneaking In Where Thugs Rule

In Myanmar there have been many violations of human rights acts. It is said that when Prsident Bush was in office he tried to help Burmese dissindants but even though he tried to help them he was not able to because he had no international capital. But, now that Obama is in office there is a chance that he will be able to change things for Burmese. The people of Myanmar are getting weapons illegally because the Security Council would not allow them to have such weapons. They are doing this to try and help protect themselves from all the madness that is going on. Men and women have been killed but it does not stop the soldiers who go deep into the Myanmar woods to work on writing up human act rights for months. These men are called the Free Burma Rangers they are risking their lives everytime they try to do the right thing, and show the right kind of human acts. They knew of a little girl who was seven years old first she was raped, and then killed. That is just one of the acts that the Burmese soldiers are doing, they are hurting so many people everyday for really no reason.

I believe that action needs to be taken. You do not just do something like this becasuse you want to, and rape is against the law. Hopefully Obama will have better luck the Bush, and all of this will be solved and the people can start to be free and saved from all the danger that they face everyday. The Free Burma Rangers need to be rewarded I think, because they are taking a lot of risks to try and help their people and they are also trying to make a difference for their country. It is such a sad story but, hopefully some day it will end up better than what it is today.

I truly believe if Obama decides to put American weight against Myanmar that the the U.N. and much of the world will too. The sad part is that even with the worlds help the social freedoms and justice for all will not be quick in coming.
