It is said that "Argument from intimidation is a confession of intellectual impotence." This article talks about how gay-rights “mobs” refuse to tolerate disagreement. Instead they single out and attack people who don’t agree with them. The media showed a movie in support of same sex marriage called "Prop. 8: The Musical” that did nothing more mock Jesus, The Bible, and Christians. Clearly this is an ineffective way to win supporters. In today’s society, statistics show that younger voters are far more likely to vote for gay marriages compared to adults. “61 percent of voters over 65 supported Prop. 8, while 61 percent of people under 30 voted against it.”
One photographer was sued because she would not take pictures for a gay couple at their “ceremony.” Activists have vandalized Churches and Mormon temples. A Methodist camp in New Jersey lost its tax exemption because it told a gay couple they couldn’t hold their ceremony in any building used for religious services.
Regardless of what kind of activists someone is, one should reconsider resorting to political measures and forcing people out of jobs, etc. for simply disagreeing or holding a different religious belief than themselves. As the article claims, “their campaign of intimidation has been the best thing that could happen to proponents of traditional marriage.”

Oh my God I came to comment on the article but my mind was moved to read the comment left before me. I am dead at the comments that were stated. Clearly this article must have hit home with some of our classmates to get a response as such. I agree that maybe her new source is questionable, but that does not take away from it being a story that relates to people around the world battling with gay life issues. I feel that to much emotion is showed in the article and comments and that is is strictly an assignment and we are allowed to choose whatever we would like to talk about so get over it!!
I agree. I have a right to say what I want too. The only thing that "hits home" with me is having to waste my time reading idiotic blogs.
