Daughter in 'Italian Fritzl' Case Says Abuse Began When She Was 9

A 64 year and old man, Josef Fritzl and his 41 year old son, Giuseppe is charged with child molestation and rape after the two men raped their own kin. Fritzl is charged with child molestation on his own and daughter and Giuseppe is charged with raping is own sister. The woman is now 34 years old and she told news reporters her name was Laura to keep things private. She finally came out and told authorities that her father had started sexually abusing her when she was just nine years old. He would keep her in a dark room with no electricity and tell her that he was teaching her things she would need to know about when she was older. She ended up getting pregnant and they told the hospital that she had been raped by a man from Morocco. Her brother was in on it too when he was older. He would rape her just like her dad would. They kept her as their sex slave for 25 years. The two men are denying any involvement saying that she is making everything up. They also molested “Laura’s” sister but she has not gone to authorities. The authorities suspect that Giuseppe has done the same thing to his 4 children. That is under investigation.

It blows my mind that this could happen. I understand that things like this happen all the time but to get your own son involved in such a crime is just disgusting. I think it is very wrong and all of these child molesters should get charged to the fullest extent of the law. This young woman was probably scared to come out and tell authorities was happening because her father had probably warned her and scared her. To think that this happened for 25 years is just mind-blowing.
