U.S. Cuts Aid to Honduras

The article is basically saying that the United States is not going to give anymore non-humanitarian aid to Honduras anymore over the fact the country put their president Manuel Zelaya out of office. This was the closest article I could find related to Trade/Economy. Although it has nothing to do with the economy it could have something to do with trade because it affects U.S. relations with Honduras. Honduras is losing our aid because they refuse to go along with the San Jose Accord which would put Manuel back in power. Hillary Clinton said $200 million was at stake. The article said Manuel was thrown out of office and exiled from the country because he wanted to overturn a constitutional provision that limits the president to serve one term.

My reaction to this is neutral, I really don't care if the U.S. cuts aid to Honduras but I'm sure it makes our country look even worse in the eyes of the people of Honduras. Secondly, I think it's dumb that Manuel was kicked out of office simply because his counterparts "thought" he wanted to overturn a constitutional provision, and he denied he wanted to do that.

I honestly don't know how to post a link so I don't know if it will work.
