Rapped and dragged to her death

A twenty-five year old women, who has not been identified was raped and killed. The twenty-five year old was not just killed, but she was tortured. She was tied to the back of a car and dragged around town after she had been raped. The woman was found naked in a pool of blood and there was evidence that she had been raped previous to being dragged around by the car. She also had many visible injuries. The twenty-five year old women appeared to have been strangled with a tie. She also had marks on her knees, thighs and stomach. Police have still not established the identity of the victim or the person who raped and killed her, but hope to make an arrest soon. Women’s right activists expressed horror when they heard about the killing they said, “it highlighted the urgent need for effective measures to stop violence against women.” One person remarked how we need to provide safer security for women and security in a lot of communities is missing at the moment, which makes women more vulnerable.

I think raping a woman is one of the most terrible things a person could ever do to another human being. Yet, in this case the twenty-five year old women was taken advantage of and then paraded around by being tied to her assaulter’s car. I think that this act of violence towards women will open up people’s eye to sexual assault and cruel violence. Maybe because of this person’s devious acts, security in different communities will become better which will create safer neighborhoods and maybe lessen the chance of women being raped and violently killed. Yet, in the movie we watched in class the other day, the opposite happened. The security that was put in to communities to protect the people were actually harmed and raped more when the solders were there.

This is really sad. They do not know who the victim is nor who the suspect is.

I agree with you that this should open people's eyes about the harsh violence. This is really awful. I don't see how an individual could do such a horrible act against such a young women. I hope that they can be an end to this violence.

I hope this heinous act opens people's eyes to how women are treated around the world. I can't believe they have no leads on who did such a horrible crime.

This is awful. I hate hearing about these kinds of things. Why are people so cruel and feel the need to violently attack someone else? I hope they find the person who did this.
