Smoking Bans Save lives

Did you know that even limited exposure to secondhand smoke can increase the odds of heart attacks in people who have heart disease or are at risk, an expert panel report commissioned by the CDC confirms. A report confirms that the eliminating of smoking in workplaces, restaurants, bars, and other public places is an effective way to protect Americans from the health effects of secondhand smoke. The smallest exposure to secondhand smoke can lead to blood clotting and constrict blood vessels, two major risk factors for heart attacks. The Surgeon General concluded that secondhand smoke exposure is responsible for tens of thousands of heart-disease-related deaths each year.

I think that the banning of smoking in public places such as the workplaces, restaurants, and bars is a great thing. Not many people think the secondhand smoke can affect you in the way that it does. The article also states that many people don't even know that they have heart disease until they have a heart attack. Even if you have perfect health secondhand smoke is something that you should stay away from.
