Over a short period of time the terrorism in Mexico has dramatically increased, due to the violent acts of drug wars and military groups trying to control them. Many innocent people have been hurt and killed by stray bullets, some in which it has reached the United States, but luckily if did not affect anyone. Although most of the attacks are meant to be fired at specific targets, sometimes the troops and gangsters are willing to confront each other. They will take the opportunity to confront their targets wherever they find them including public places such as busy streets, neighborhoods, or shopping centers. Mexico always realized they had a problem in their hands with the drug wars against the government. They realized that it was a much bigger problem when a recent annihilation of seventy-two transmigrantes (migrants traveling through Mexico between Central and South America to reach the United States), they saw that the violence had entered to a new stage at war and terrorism. There has also been killings and attacks toward political leaders in Mexico. These attacks towards the government and general public are a sign that the drug gangs are turning into more extreme tactics. “Targeting innocent people instills fear among the public; attacks on politicians are meant to destabilize the government. Together they aim to undermine public confidence in government.” One thing is certain that the increase of terrorism has gone up dramatically in the country of Mexico due to all the drug wars and violence to keep transporting their drug supply.
Unprecedented Terrorism Taking Root In Mexico

What do you think of Clinton's statement that Mexico is beginning to resemble Colombia 20 years ago?
Do you think it is fair that the U.S. has criticized Mexico on human right violations while trying to get the "insurgency" under control? Perhaps I don't understand it, but it seems to me that not as many human right violations should be taking place with the crackdown as there were before.
