Blog #6 Deputies: Pair Steals CDs, Finds Child Porn

Two men broke into a barn in Delhi, California and stole about 50 CDs that they thought were blank. The owner of the barn, Kraig Stockard, reported the incident and after investigation got arrested when they discovered that those CDs were filled with child pornography.  The two guys that broke into the barn took them home and asked a family member to upload some music onto the discs. When the family member popped one of the CDs in, he discovered the child pornography. That’s when the two guys contacted the Sheriff’s Department and explained everything that happened. Afterwards deputies checked all of the stolen CDs and said that they found that more than 30 of them contained child porn images. Investigators aren’t yet sure how much Stockard had in his possession but on the CDs alone thousands of photos and videos were found. Stockard admitted to having the porn, which officials say he has been downloading since 2004. He posted a $25,000 bond and will face child pornography charges. Child pornography is something that happens all over the world. It is scary how many people make or download child pornography. The children in those types of movies are innocent little babies that are being taken advantage of for the pleasure of perverted people around the world. The man from the article looks like he could be someone’s grandfather and here he is downloading thousands of photos and videos of children. Anyone involved in child pornography deserves the maximum amount of prison time possible for a crime, not the death penalty because that is the “easy way out”.
