             This article is talking about how the Italian mafia is coming and infiltrating on the economy since the economic crash. It tells how the small business owners who only need a little bit of money, or a small loan would rather go to them than the bank to avoid ruining their credit. It talks of how now that the economy has crashed, and gone bad the people are looking anywhere for money to be able to pay bills as simple as the light bills. It tells how the mafia has more money than the banks, and they will give it to the people for a high price. The person may start out with a bill as small as $2000, but by the end of 6 months on the mafia's terms they owe $25000. This is ridiculous, because if the banks would be more helpful, then the people wouldn't have to go to such extreme measures to just be able to pay their bills and all. The mafia was even able to get control over the shipment, and TNT places,  which is a serious problem.
      I feel like this article shows us just what can and will happen if we just sit back and allow it too. With our economy on the downs, and being very low we have opened ourselves up to be taken over by mob families. The mob families can be in Italy, and still have control over us. With the mob in Italy having control over Italy, they are producing and shipping more cocaine, which comes to us, and is sold to our people, and then we have a whole different problem of families falling apart due to drug addiction. The Italian mob no doubt has people everywhere, with connections, and we probably have people going to them for loans for the same reason. With our economy in this rut we must find a way to get people money, because if we don't the Mob families will own the world, and once they get most of it, it won't be hard for them to get it all.
