Blog #1: Work plan for ‘troubled families’ across England

There are more and more workers becoming unemployed in England and have been out of work for a while. Many families are living troubled lives due to less income. On the other hand ministers are trying to help these families by starting a program to help “troubled families”. Eight specialist welfare-to-work firms have been made available to help individuals overcome barriers to getting and job and continue working. Moreover, the governments stated that they have been helping families with problems which cost them billions of pounds through the NHS and criminal justice system. The government hopes to encourage individuals who have not worked for many years to get back in the work place by developing a legitimate detail outline. Furthermore specialist providers from the voluntary and private sector will provide specialist advice on issues like family finances, managing relationships with schools, as well as housing and health problems. The initiative, which covers families in England with at least one person on out-of-out benefits, is being backed by 200m in funding from the European Social Fund, money the UK receives from the European Union each year.  Being that Unemployment is a huge problem around the world, I think it’s a great idea that the organizations in these programs are using their own money to help a great deal of people.
