Blog #3 Taking back globalization

This article is talking about how globalization has led to torn families, and hunger. The article goes on to talk about how the people are leaving the farms, and going to their jobs elsewhere. This also means that they no longer know who produced their food, or who made it, unlike before when they would've all known each other. The article states that maybe we should take back globalization in areas where it is hurting the people. Because they don't make enough in their jobs to feed themselves and their families, and therefore they have "globalized" but they are hungry, and so is their family. They are told if they don't do better with the globalization, it will be derailed, and the people will go back to the way they were before, because they knew their places in the society then.If they would look at the small land owners who are broke, and then gave them the opportunity to make money, and sell the food, and then they would no longer be in poverty.
Globalization is something that we have always thought, and said was a good thing, but in reality its not that great for the people that don't want/need it. When we convince a country to globalize, and become "bigger and better", we are really just setting up these small countries for failure. I agree that we need to let the small farm owner be the producer, and move out of poverty. If we were to do that, it would take away the inequality that has been set up by the globalization, and it would take care of much of the hunger that is going on, and it would help all those in need. People need a way to feed their families, and with the globalization they are unable to do so, and therefore they want to turn away from it, and I can't really say that I blame them much when before they could at least feed themselves and their families. If we were to look at different ways to globalize, but still have the mechanical solidarity, then the countries would do a lot better with the globalization, and I feel that they would also be better off.
