Today I read an article explain about child issues in Africa. I was so surprised that there are so many things that young kids are asigned to. In like other countries across the world children are used for work alone, but in Africa there is such a huge amount of things that the children are used for. One of the biggest issues facing children in Africa isn't the workforce, its children getting forced into military groups. They are making these children fight and kill people at the age of in some cases 8! There are a ton of small militia groups spread all over Africa and their main goal is to recruit when the person is very young, they then can be considered by the time they get older and if they are still alive, be conidered a true soilder. Yes there still is alot of problems that surround labor in the work force as well, also there is huge problem with Africans selling children as slaves and prostitutes.
To me thats just insane. How in the world could you make children fight in militias when I garuntee half of them have even no clue for what they are fighting for. When I looked at China and South American countries I felt terrible when I saw children just having to deal with working underage. Why is it that they hardly ever mention African children? Clearly across the world, after reading this article, these children have it extremly worst than any other child across the world. All you ever here about is low wages and blah blah, imagine them taking your child away when they are around 7 to 8 and selling them for whatever they can get out of you or sticking an automatic machine gun in their hands and telling them to kill whoever. Thats just crazy, and im tired of hearing about racial discrimination with men and women, or making a young 14 sew blue jeans. This problem in Africa is extremly worst than any of those situations, but you hardly never hear about those children. They need to focus their concerns on this situation.
