Blog 10: Gynecologists urged to screen for heart disease

According to the researchers Womens who don’t see a primary care physician may have a detection of cardiovascular risk. Womens are usually untreated or unaware of risk factors for heart disease. It is the leading cause of the death in the United States. And the rate of heart-related death in women between the ages of 35 and 44 increase rapidly 1 percent per year. Women take more care of their breasts and get mammorans and bones than hearts stated by Dr. Mehran, director of interventional cardiovascular research. According to the research, two- thirds of the women  experience cardiovascular disease. The symptoms  were mild fatigue to severe chest pain. Dr. Mehran also recommend womens have a simple cardiovascular assessment in clinics which will prevent the heart disease. About 4 in 10 patients never had cholesterol check and 2 in 10 patients have no clue about their blood pressure, which means nearly half of the women in the program were postmenopausal.
After reading these shocking stats, it was really upset to acknowledge that heart disease is still the leading cause of death among women in the US.  Women take care of their breasts than their heart and Half of the womens are not even aware of the risk facts that is why heart disease is getting a huge social global problem. Women needs to go to OB/GYN clinics  that would increase prevention of heart disease and give critical knowledge. The survey is not costly at all and it only took two or three minutes to take a survey. Every gender needs to be apply healthy habits and go to clinic to have medical checks so that the death rates would decrease.
