Education

I chose education for my current event topic. The reason why I chose education is because I am so passionate about the topic and I believe that it is part of the fuel to our future. It is so important that we cherish and value education. It should be something that everyone has access to and can receive. All people can benefit from it and it is important that it is instilled in our children from a young age and that it can continue through adulthood. It not only is important for our children but it is important for adults. We can learn so much through education. The sad and alarming point to make is that globally we are not all on the same page when it comes to education and therefore I think that actions need to be taken in order to see that change. With that being said, I am interested to see how education is valued differently globally and what actions are being taken around the world when it comes to education.
