It’s 2013, And They’re Burning ‘Witches’

In the article the writer talk about the women of Papua New Guinea. In Papua New Guinea the belief of women using black magic is very common. This article talked about how a women who was accused of using black magic and being a witch.  When there is a sudden death of a child or a man it is said that it is the work of black magic. The responsibility of the death of a man or child is then placed on a women and she has to pay for it. The recent death of two men raised the hunt to find a woman to blame for the deaths.  A woman who was named Angela (not her real name) was tortured and burned alive for the death of two men. The men stripped her of her clothes and placed her on wood to be on display for everyone that was surrounding the women watching. Some of the people that were watching were off duty cops and even little children were there to witness such a horrible act.  It is all too common that many women are burned or beaten because of the belief of witches and black magic. Many are trying to make efforts to help with this issue.

I feel that something should be done about this issue. I feel that no women should have to live their lives in fear. I feel this is immoral and even from any view point of this issue this is something that should not be happening to the women of Papua New Guinea. I this one of the many stories of how women are treat unequally and has little to no help to fight for their rights and receive help. I feel that women of any country should have adequate resource to seek help and have help for crisis such as this article presented.

Undeniably consider that which you stated. Your favourite reason seemed
to be on the web the easiest thing to understand of.
I say to you, I definitely get annoyed at the same time as people consider issues
that they plainly don't understand about. You controlled to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people could take a signal. Will probably be back to get more. Thank you

I create a comment each time I especially enjoy a post on a website or
if I have something to add to the conversation. It's a result of the fire communicated in the article I looked at. And after this article "Blog 4: It's 2013, And
They're Burning 'Witches'". I was moved enough to leave a thought ;-) I actually do have 2 questions for you if you do not mind. Is it only me or does it give the impression like some of the comments look like left by brain dead people? :-P And, if you are posting on additional social sites, I would like to follow you. Could you list every one of all your social sites like your linkedin profile, Facebook page or twitter feed?

I think everything typed was actually very logical. However,
what about this? what if you added a little information?
I am not saying your content is not good, however what if you added something to possibly get a person's attention? I mean "Blog 4: It's 2013, And They're Burning 'Witches'" is kinda boring. You ought to glance at Yahoo's
home page and see how they create article titles to grab viewers to click.
You might try adding a video or a related picture or two to grab
readers interested about everything've written. In my opinion, it would bring your posts a little livelier.

Its like you read my mind! You seem to know so much about this, like you wrote the book in
it or something. I think that you could do with a
few pics to drive the message home a bit, but other than that, this is fantastic blog.
An excellent read. I'll certainly be back.
