Since prices for oil have risen to extreme amounts over the past few years, everyone is looking for other options in oil and energy. Other options include biofuels, solar power, wind power, and of course nuclear and hydroelectirc power. These options are a more natural and safe way of getting fuel and energy to use for our society. Another positive to using these options is they cost less money and they are good for the environment. These things combined make everyone happy!
To get the ball rolling on finding new resources, an energy research group has found that more than seven trillion dollars will be invested in the clean energy technologies by the year 2030. This money is coming from private investment and pressure from the public to bring down prices and have a cleaner and safer environment. A spokesperson from Cambridge Energy Research Associates states that most of this money will probably go towards nuclear and hydroelectric power. However, wind power, solar power, and biofuels are said to gain the most from this research. The Research Associates have also stated they have found out about new plants that will help convert energy from more natural resources.
I think there are many ways we can get fuel from our environment. Now that people have to pay more for fuel, the public is becoming more aware and unhappy with the status of our natural resources and the environment itself. If research and attention continue to climb, I believe we will find so many new ways to help change our environment.

I agree. I think that is alot of money to be spent in that amount of time but I think that people are becoming more aware and more willing to help contribute to environmentally friendly products because of the expense that it is costing them to have gasoline powered cars. I think that in the next ten years if this really is accomplished that people are going to be forced into buying the new cars because there wont be as many places that sell gas.
