A Quick Summary/Samuel Fahnrich/4:00 PM/2-1-08

Alright folks, this is going to be my wrap-it up session before we really talk about global warming. Not to say we won't have fun educating ourselves about a more eco-friendly lifestyle, but that I will discuss more possible solutions to reduce the current problem our world is adjusting to. What else can you do to help, let's just say it'll make your vegetarian friends happy. Spoiler alert though, it seems ethanol isn't such a great alternative fuel after all.

As of last year, the UN's panel of world class, heroic breed of scientists claimed global warming was and is supported and fueled by human influence (say that five times fast). We have driven ourselves to the point of no return, and all we can do is retard the process.
Why is global warming such a problem? Earth has an atmosphere filled with gas. You know what, to save you some trouble just read this...

Global Warming =
Sun's rays heat the Earth- which heats the oceans- which influence Earth's wind streams- which allows circulation of gases- gases that trap the sun's rays- the trapped rays then heat the Earth- the problem is that there is too much gas- this traps too much heat- which causes global temperature to rise- which melts the poles- which effect the oceans- which effect the overall climate- which results in an increase to Earth's temperature- which ultimately causes either an ice age or meltdown depending on how ultimate you want to go.

There you have it, that's the problem.

I really like your post, very entertaining and educational. Global warming is such an important issue that not enough people care about and then the few people that may know and care, don't do anything really that helps. We all need to ban together and try to turn this problem around before we totally screw ourselves over. When will humans learn? My guess, when we destroy our own world.
