Another missile delivered from the United States military hit Pakistan on Friday. The attack killed nine people. This has been one in a multitude of attacks faced by the Middle Eastern country as a result to combat counter terrorism. The missile struck in North Waziristan, which is near the Afghan border. It is known to have a heavy population of Islamic extremism. Although the Pakistani government has full aspirations in conquering the terrorism haunting their region, they are in deep conflictions with the United States military. They have already stressed their concerns publically numerous times and have issued documentations concerning their disapproval with the United States’ military action. To come to a better understanding, Pakistani president Asif Ali Zardari and prime minister Yusuf Raza Gilani conducted a meeting with the senior United States military commander, General David Petraeus. Not only has ongoing terrorism acts caused opposition, but also conflictions between forces that are on the same fighting end. Many may find it difficult to determine who has proper jurisdiction over a decision such as this. Although, Pakistan uses and continues to need the aid and technology of the United States military to fight terrorism, their policies are often undermined by them if they see a different goal. Meanwhile, The United States seems to not mind a risk of innocent lives being lost in the attempt to kill those who are continuing such horrific acts of terrorism. None of the listed perspectives comes without great negative consequences either way.

After a certain point you begin to wonder if this "war on terror" is really worth anything. Im sure that the US has killed 10 times as many innocent people than were killed on 9/11.
