Bluetongue is a curious virus that has recently been found in Twain. Twain has cleared the virus after identifying this virus by clearing out any infected cattle, sheep, and goats. The Bluetongue infest the blood of the animal and semen so if it so if the animal reproduces it will spread. Bluetongue takes up to five to twenty days for the virus to become active. This virus is common in Africa, Americas, Australia, and in Southern Asia. The way to prevent this from spreading is by isolation once you have detected the virus. The way to detect the virus is by inflammation and erosion of the mucosa of the mouth, lameness, swollen tongue, death within eight to ten days, and other animals dieing frequently, respiratory mucosa, and Lesions. A lot of the time the Bluetongue is diagnosed wrong and people that come in contact with this problem think it is Foot and mouth Disease, Plant Poisoning, Pneumonia, etc.

This causes a problem to farmers in the regions listed above because that is there lively hood and how they survive. If there herd of animals becomes ill and the illness is found to be Bluetongue there is a high percentage that this virus has already spread to your other animals. It can really effect the farmer at this point and can even put him in potential harm without having a way to make a living.
