Deforestation Won't Stop!

It’s happening again. This time in the Indonesia area. Logging companies and other probate organizations are tearing down hundreds of acres of rainforest for many different reasons. These reasons might be a little different in theory but in reality, they are fueled by large companies that are looking to get rich off of untapped resources that are not easily renewed. The article mainly focuses on New Guinea which is said to harbor enough trees to cancel out the carbon footprint of all of Europe. The New Guinea governor is working to stop these large companies from causing any more damage to this country. Deforestation of the surrounding countries has turned them into some of the highest emitters of greenhouse gasses. These countries are being considered as countries that would be paid to keep their land under wraps for conservation purposes.

Here it is again. Another article of large companies attaching unused land in underdeveloped countries for major profit. In doing this, they make no attempts to conserve land or proceed with caution for the earth. I am really getting tired of reading about these corporations that have no concern for the environment whatsoever. Money is way more important to the world than the world is itself. I guess there is no way to really stop these corporations as a whole until there is a real problem and the world comes to a consensus about the environment. We are close now but not close enough apparently. All we can do right now is try to stop them and hope for the best in the future.
