New Hopes Surrounding the Electric Car

New programs in Europe and the U.S. point to an increased use of the electric car, helping battle the ongoing argument alternative energy deals with of “what about when the sun isn’t shining, or the wind isn’t blowing?” Japanese car makers Nissan and Mitsubishi are among the large companies investing in the electric car. Chevy is also putting out an electric car, to be called the Volt. A new venue for the electric car has also been found. Countries like Denmark that already invest highly in alternative energy (Denmark’s entire energy need is met by wind power) often have excess energy that is essentially lost seeing as there is no way to store the wind. Electric cars could store this power as well as forms of traditional energy. With the help of the electric car, Denmark could be completely fossil fuel free mid century. One of the main worries about the functionality about the electric car has always been running out of power. This is addressed saying only about once a year will an electric car owner not have enough energy to drive where they want to. If all goes as planned in the United States, within 5 years electric vehicles will be owned by 1 million citizens. This will provide for a market supplying electricity to 51 million people throughout the U.S.

I felt the article was very well balanced. It included arguments typically used to combat the idea of electric cars which made me feel it was well researched, and had been thoroughly thought out. The mentioning of actual car dealerships that have plans or are in the process of putting out electric cars also added to the articles validity. Because it addressed issues that have always been potential problems for electric vehicles, (such as charging by saying that “smart charging” where when demand in low, or when the wind is blowing the strongest, typically at 1 AM-4AM), I felt the article discussed what is a real possibility in our future. It didn’t seem like any information had been hidden, or withheld. Personally, I think electric cars are a great idea, and after reading this article, I feel even more strongly.

That's very interesting. I always wondered how electric cars would run when there was no sunshine or wind!

I always love reading articles about new technology in electric cars or alternative fuels. It's such a positive article! We all pretty much put our hopes in the electric car, but there definitely are a lot of questions.

Unquestionably believe that which you said.
Your favorite justification seemed to be on the internet the simplest thing to be aware of.
I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people think about
worries that they just do not know about. You managed
to hit the nail upon the top and defined out the whole thing without
having side effect , people could take a signal. Will likely be
back to get more. Thanks

A fascinating discussion is definitely worth comment.
I believe that you need to publish more on this subject,
it might not be a taboo matter but generally folks don't discuss these issues. To the next! Cheers!!
