U.S. Drone Attack Kills Atleast Four

Another U.S. drone attack killed atleast four people on Friday, October 15, on a North Waziristan tribal agency in northwestern Pakistan.  Local sources also said that there were three other people that were injured after the drone aircraft fired three missiles into a village in Mir Ali, one of the main towns in North Waziristan near the Afghan border.  The details of all the people killed are not known.  It is believed that most of them that were killed were militants hiding, but the drone sometimes accidently kills innocent civilians.  Although, one person of atleast four people killed was the Taliban commander Qari Hussain.   It is believed, according to the sources,  that Qari Hussain was the master mind of many of the suicide bomb attacks in Pakistan.
Ever since seven CIA employees in Afghanistan in December were killed by a suicide bomber, U.S. drones have increased in the Waziristan tribal area.  Which Waziristan is the home of the three Taliban leaders Hakimullah Mehsood, Hafiz Gul Bahadur, and Mulla Nazir, who are fighting against U.S. and NATO forces in Afghanistan.
This article included that drone attacks are sometimes accidently killing innocent civilians.  Well surely this is not going over very well across the world.  The U.S. is clearly still making some progress with taking out the Taliban leader, Qari Hussain, but let’s face it, the other people killed were not even identified.  They could have all been innocent bystanders, very unlikely but who knows.  It may be better just to send some more troops down there to capture these Taliban leaders.  It isn’t like the U.S. troops are not capable, they did it when they capture Saddam Hussein, surely they can do it again.  There might be better and less casualty ways of apprehending these guys besides blowing towns and villages away.
