The article talks about how the Islamic leaders of Ethiopia opening a national bank. This bank would start to bring more stability to the region financial making them less dependent on foreign business relations. However, the main opposition is the Islamic religious faction whom desire to up hold the teaching of the faith in regards to money. The region has come to a head with their faith and monetary standing.

The reason why this is a religious diversity issue is because the people are being asked to choose between their believes or their greed. We all know that money makes the world go round and many would sell their souls to attain even a fraction but to those of a religious mindset would say that the love of money is the root of all evil. These individuals are at a crossroads between this world and the next and ultimately the decision will spark unrest throughout the region. Two gods will collide; the god of this world (money) and the god of the next (Allah according to Islam).
