In Ranchi, India six tribal children have died and many more are in hospital from drinking adulterated milk. The state school in eastern India where the children aged 8 to 13 have drunk the milk. More than 30 are is hospital with nine of those in critical condition.
The adulterated milk seems to of caused food poisoning which has lead to the deaths and hospitalized children. The school in eastern India is run by the state’s welfare department to give free education and food to children ethnic tribe’s people. The state’s welfare department provides these services among the poorest and least-developed communities in India.
The government has suspended the teachers from the school for dereliction of duty because the food and drink is prepared under their supervision. These deaths have resulted in the villagers gathering to protest against the deaths.
No parent would ever expect their child to go to school to receive a free education and not return from school. This incident should not have happened. This school operates under the state’s government welfare department who is trying to provide services for the poor; you would think that they would have better precautions and procedures regarding what they are giving the children.

I read another article on this topic and it stated that their government allowed the implementation of certain chemicals to be used in order to change the consistency. It just made me think do we ever really know what we're ingesting? It is scary in the least.
It is as if all anyone cares about is fulfilling there duty, not fulfilling it carefully to insure that people will not be hurt.
