Summary
On October 29th, Beijing claimed its first death for the H1N1 virus. This brought the mainland toll to four. The person was a male student from Beijing University. The man was among 3,000 freshmen who were participating in compulsory military drills and the group of students began to show the symptoms of influenza the following week. There have been a total of 71 students that had a fever and 28 tested positive for the H1N1 virus. The university has been urged to tighten down on its disease control and quarantine measures. In order to do this, the university wants students to report themselves once they have coughing or any type of flu symptoms. Before students can enter their dormitory, they must have their temperatures taken in order to gain access. The head of the Beijing municipal health bureau believes that the daily influenza infection rate could hit 12,000 by January. Also it will not be long before most of the flu cases are almost entirely H1N1.
Reaction
After reading this article I believe that we are going to see a lot more cases of the swine flu well on through the winter season. I am glad to see that the health bureau authorities have urged Beijing University to tighten down on its disease control and its quarantine measures. I think that it is great that the university requires its students to report if they have coughing or if they have any flu like symptoms in order to cut down on the number of people that are infected with the H1N1 virus. Hopefully with these measures the university will be able to get the outbreak under control.

This is sad that this is sweeping the world and killing people. I hope that it stops spreading and everyone that can get a vaccine gets one. I do also agree with the sick being quarantined, even though it must suck for them it will help a lot more people out with not getting the virus.
Winter season is also a season of flu. Taking vaccine is not the only way to resist it but boosting the immune system. Taking food supplement that consists of all essential vitamins, minerals and antioxidants can help our body to defend viruses. Plus, eating nutritious food and taking regular workout should be part of the routine.
