Obama holds meetings all the time lately to discuss war strategy for Afghanistan, whether to send more troops and how many and things like this. Many experts say that they aren’t worried about Obama’s policy that he decides on but whether he is going to be committed to the war or not. Some think that he is just going along with this war stuff so that he can drop the war later at a more opportune time. They wonder if he has the tenacity that it takes to stick with his decision once he has made it. This war will most certainly take determination.
I certainly hope that Obama wouldn’t send more troops and money into this war only with the intention of pulling out later. That is not the Obama that I thought I elected. They said that he is more concerned with health care, energy, and education and he is just endorsing the war to appease the “right”. Well I say fuckem’ let’s pull out of the war now and use all that extra cash to “left” the shit out of this country. Lets jumpstart energy conservation, healthcare and education reform, or I guess we could just keep wasting our money on killing people and getting our own killed. The left has a massive majority right now and it seems like they are doing nothing with it. This article reminds me of the Ozzy Ozborne song “War Pigs”. These guys want Obama to become one of the war pigs like themselves and become committed to war and death.

Pulling troops out now would ultimately destroy any good we have done or any changes we have made and Iraq would have more deaths due to small groups of people vying for power. That would be a huge mistake to leave all those people out to dry. We started this mess, and we have to finish it - one way or another.
I didn't say pull out of Iraq, we are done there anyway and are beginning to pull troops. We plan to be out of there inside the next year. I said we need to leave Afghanistan, there is no good that we have done and no accomplishments for us to protect. We need to cut our losses and leave before we waste more lives and money.
